It is peer reviewed, Quarterly Journal for Publication of Researches in Ayurveda. This is the official publication of Ayurveda Research and Career Academy (ARCA) started in Jan 2022. The full text of the journal is accessible on the website www.ayuscript.com. The journal allows free access (open access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted versions of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. This journal has continuously contributed to the original research, education and propagation for Ayurveda on the national as well as international platform.

About ARCA Ayurveda Research & Career Academy (ARCA) is founded pertaining to develop the skills required for research particularly in under graduate and post graduate students in the stream of Indian System of Medicine. (AYUSH) India has a large infrastructure in terms of Colleges, Hospitals, institutions on Indian Medicine for teaching as well as clinical care. The scientific validation of various Ayurvedic, Sidhha and Unanai therapies mentioned in texts however, remains to be done on a wider scale. Ayurveda Research & Career Academy has created a platform for the upcoming Ayurveda aspirants to encourage research work through active assistance with their team of experts. It also provides the appropriate information about future opportunities, upcoming important events in AYUSH and related fields needed to the aspirants via this portal. Efforts have been made to provide all related information under one roof to every individual for career up gradation.

Ayurveda Research & Career Academy (ARCA) also has taken up a series of programs/interventions wherein training based support for acquire the knowledge of research methodology in the field of Ayurveda. (www.ayurvedacareer.com)

Mission and Objective:

Mission : To explore original research, manuscripts in the Science of Ayurveda for empirical research.

Objectives:

  1. To promote for empirical research in Ayurveda e.g., Clinical trials, drug research.
  2. To meet the present-day requirements by incorporating advances of basic sciences research to serve the requirement of global health care needs by mainstreaming AYUSH.
  3. It also aims to increase the visibility and awareness of AYUSH’s scientific work worldwide.
  4. To encourage the Ayurveda scholars for original research based on classical theory given in Ayurveda and investigate fundamental principles of Ayurveda through original manuscripts.
  5. To develop the prospective Human Resource in Indian Medical Systems, especially to develop scientific aptitude and expertise relating to AYUSH Research.

AYUSCRIPT is devoted to the publication of original articles, original manuscript on Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha. It also deals with clinical and pharmacological evaluation of herbs, minerals, metals and animal products, validation of food remedies, phytochemistry, ethnomedicine, survey of medicinal plants, nutraceuticals, drug standardization, biotechnology, agriculture, horticulture, pharmacovigilance etc. relating to medicinal plants.

The AYUSCRIPT journal will consider any original contribution that advances medical science or practice, or that educates the journal's readers. Manuscripts must be solely the work of the author(s) stated, must not have been previously or partially published elsewhere, and must not be under consideration by another journal.

Ayurveda articles should be from Rachana Sharir (Anatomy), Kriya sharir (Physiology), Dravyaguna Vigyan (Materia Medica & Pharmacology), Rasashastra (Ayurvedic Metals & Minerals/Iatrochemistry) Bhaishajya Kalpana (Pharmaceuticals Science), Ayurved Samhita & Siddhanta (Ayurvedic Compendia & Basic Principles), Agadtantra & Vidhi Vaidyaka (Toxicology & Forensic Medicine), Svasthavritta (Preventive, Social Medicine & Yoga), Roganidana & Vikriti Vigyan (Pathology & Diagnostic Procedure), Kayachikitsa (General Medicine), Manovigyan & Manasroga (Psychiatry), Rasayan & Vajikaran (Rejuvenation & Aphrodisia), Panchakarma, Prasuti & Stri Roga (Gynecology & Obstetrics), Kaumarbhritya-Balaroga (Pediatrics), Shalyatantra (General Surgery), Shalakyatantra (Otorhinolaryngology/ENT & Ophthalmology).

All manuscripts contributed to AYUSCRIPT are examined by the Editorial board members and all original articles are evaluated by peer reviewers assigned by the editors. The AYUSCRIPT will publish online accepted peer reviewed manuscript within 2-3 months of time or as decided by Editorial Board within that time frame.

Review Policy, Confidentiality

Review Policy:

All submitted articles are read by the editorial staff. To save time for authors and peer-reviewers, only those papers that seem most likely to meet our editorial criteria are sent for double blind review. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewers' advice Accept with or without editorial revisions or reject. We therefore ask that reviewers should be willing to provide follow-up advice as requested.

Publication ethics:

An author should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal at a time or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is intolerable. In general, an author should not submit for consideration in another journal a previously published paper.

Statement on Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice:

The editors of the AYUSCRIPT are in charge of deciding which articles should be published in the journal. In analyzing the submitted works, the editors should confine themselves entirely to the intellectual content. Race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors should not be considered by the editors. Any information that violates legal criteria for libel, copyright infringement, or plagiarism can be ignored by the editors. The editors must keep the submitted works confidential until they are published.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest

All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Confidentiality

The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
